The Marvelous Somyot Cave
An impressive cave in Burgos, in the north of the island, with stalactites and unusual rock formations. The tour is a real adventure: crawling, tight squeezes and climbing over slippery rocks. It opened to visitors in March 2023.
- Getting there: about 1 hour 15 minutes from General Luna on the northern Circumferential Road.
- Cost: about ₱410 per person, including helmet, headlamp, gloves and guide (2024). The tour takes about two hours, and you sign a waiver.
- Who it's for: not for anyone claustrophobic. Wear closed shoes, and don't touch the formations.
